Training is crucial for sea staff to stay on par with this ever-evolving industry and ensure that our vessels are operated at the highest standards of performance. In addition, we carry out the following functions:
- Design and development of In-house training modules and value-added training programs to meet Eastawayfleet requirements.
- A Company-specific E-Learning portal (ECOPS) for the sea as well as shore staff
- Cadet Training & Mentoring program for Deck, Engine & Electrical Cadets
- Tie up with reputed Maritime Training Institutes for Tailor-made training courses for Senior & Junior sea staff
- Inhouse Training & familiarization programs for newly recruited sea staff and existing sea staff.
- Promotion orientation programs for aspiring officers
- Vessel type-specific familiarization modules for seafarers
- Management of online safety video training for sea staff
The Cadets Training Programme:
The strategy of the Cadet Programme is not to recruit large numbers of Cadets, but the right candidates for our organization. We are committed to creating an effective mentorship journey for all Cadets.
Cadets will be given priority to sail with Eastaway as Officers after the completion of their Cadetship program.
